Fact. Recent studies have shown that certified employees in the computer industry are earning salaries averaging 25% higher than their non-certified counterparts.
Goal
One of my goals is to learn many different programming languages. I am interested in achieving considerable scope, depth and facility, which I believe will help me serve others better. In college, I hope to learn even more.
My second goal is to become successful in computer tech and computer networking. This includes: assembly, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of computers and rack servers.
My third goal is to challenge myself, even when I'm already challenged. No matter what, I choose to progress forward and to never take a step back.
Experience Computer:
-Dell Dimension 2400 disassembly, reassembly, and troubleshooting.
-Troubleshoot custom computer. Found that the power supply was broken.
Hard drive:
-Removed “Squeeky” noise, which is often heard in old hard drives.
-Combined two hard drives into one (SATA). C#:
-Built “WebStorm”, a revolution for web programming, web design, and socializing. This currently has a server and a client. This is my own project, and it 10% completed. I hope to progress even farther.
-Built ToPAST. GM tool for Tales of Pirates.
HTML, PHP and Javascript+AJAX: Built more then 10 different sites (nobody other then me has seen them), which includes:
“Archive” - a basic article retainer.
“Publish Online” - a website that let users post books online.
“Zip Webtools” - Express site that let users get the latest applications that I made to help early web development.
“Metal Flood” - Starter for a AJAX, HTML, CSS, PHP game, which was high-tech, and used “get” methods in several different areas.
“brclancy111” - Based off of my online username. This site was meant to start an online business, but has been a failed attempt. This site helped me show how smooth a website could be.
Used to be online:
-”Irons Robotics” - This was a fully custom-made website that was designed for efficiency and ease of use. This site was powered by PHP, Javascript, and HTML. For the pages, I used frames to support a “no-loading time” system. This site also became the backbone of several projects later on. Education
No degree. I'm currently taking Computer Tech, Network Tech, and a few AP classes.
Right now, I am still in high school. When I graduate from college, I will have a Computer Tech Minor, and Computer Programming Major. Other courses I will complete in college will include Electrical Engineering and Computer Networking.
