Are you ready to be a webmaster? Test your skills out with the NCSA online certification exam CS599. Exam questions are multiple choice and come from three different categories which are shown in the box below along with the approximate percentage of questions from each category.

Questions are designed to meet the criteria established for individuals with six months experience as a webmaster. Why become an NCSA certified Webmaster?

The internet has grown to become a critical component in almost every business and industry. Expanding your skills as a certified Webmaster will create many additional opportunities in a range of fields. Having the ability to maintain and expand a company's website could be the difference in a hiring decision. A Webmaster certification from NCSA demonstrates to employers that you have acquired a level of knowledge equivalent to six months experience as a webmaster.

What do I need to study?

The best way to prepare for your webmaster certification is to perform the duties of a webmaster: build and maintain your own website or series of sites. While you are working on your sites you will pick on the basic structure of HTML and JavaScript. As a webmaster in a business setting it will be important for you to gather client information and possibly to access data stored in a database. To this end, we require you demonstrate your ability in one of the web programming languages such as PHP, ASP, or ColdFusion that offers you these abilities.
